I'm excited - I've got my ZAP 400 all put together and ready for my first test flight. But, I want to make sure that the gyro is working properly. How do you test it?

I'm using a Cirrus MPC-6

If its a heading hold, you can just move your boom to the left and to the right and see if the tail servo tries to compensate and keep the heli straight, spooling it up will let you know for sure

You can also hold the model in your hand, above your head, while running it up. If you try to rotate the model, you should feel it resist you rotating it on the axis of the main mast.
