Does anyone know if there is any heli events or fun flies in the southern California area any time some?

jason, you just missed a fun fly in san diego right in your area. it was on the weekend of the 15th at the palomar fliers. not far from temecula

Bummer...I was going to start flying over there on the weekends too. But didn't go to check out the field last weekend because I went on a spur of the moment trip to Vegas. Oh well, maybe next time.

We did the same thing and missed out on the fun fly. Left for LV at 1100 at night saturday got there at 4AM Sunday. Black Jack and screwdrivers till 2pm Sunday and drove home. It's a miracle we're all still alive.

I remember living in SO. Ca full time (now just part time). THose one day turnarounds to Las Vegas are fairly common for us So. Californians. Great place to visit, do some partying, and get home for the work week.

Now I live here most of the time and never party too much. DO some work, fly some helis, but enjoy shows on the strip.

Elton John is back in town (replaces Celine from time to time). One of my clients has invited me to go with her....front row seats.
