Do you all have same pos and neg pitch or you have in neg a little more?

I have notice that the climb out rate when inverted is not as strong as when upright. I am currently have +-10. Will it help increasing the neg 1 more degree?

Hi SPB,

Chances are it just the control arms flexing when loaded up in the climbout. As the configuration of most control systems is not perfectly symmetrical the amount of flex will be a little different depending if you are doing a positive or negative climbout.

The air flow through the blades will also be a little different because you are swapping the direction of flow (body of heli on different sides) although i've always control flex to be the main cause.

I think you will just have to tweek the end points a little.

I've always found that the pitch gauge is a good guide to pitch.

But it is on the bench, not in the air.

What i tend to do is get it roughly right on the bench, and then fly it and adjust until i get equal response form -ve and +ve

Mind you it is easier on a mechanical ccpm heli, thank god for ATV!

LOL

I can;t believe i bought a rappy. Mind you the 90 SE really rocks. I always thought i would be a fury driver till the end of my days

I have always found that I had to put in another deree or so on the negetive side to match the upright performance.Just add another degree to your curve and adjust to where it feels right.

Thanks you guys for contributing your knowledge

The blades are SAB symetrical and the pitch is correct measured subject that my pitch gauge (MA) measures correct.

I think all opinions show that I have to increase a little the neg pitch.

Stu with what you are saying about the 90 you are pushing me to spend money again
