Finally, probably going to be up all night programing this beast, looks tantastic, to all who have them, there is a lever on the left side were your index finger rests, what does it do?
And, I just threw it on the triton, should I cyclic it or just charge and go?

I would go ahead and slow charge it the first time. Just to be on the safe side.

The left side lever is the pitch trim. It will adjust the collective a few degrees up or down at any throttle setting (not to be confused with the hovering pitch trim.)

The problem with this lever is that EVERY TIME I pick up the radio or move my fingers, I end up moving the lever.

The best thing you can do with the damn thing is disable it in the system setup menu under DEVIC.SEL.

To reach full capacity, you should cycle the battery pack 2-3 times at a 'normal' charge rate (50-75 mAh.)

The AUX3 channel is on the right side lever (by default. It can be changed in Devic.SEL.

Oh, by the way - the Pitch Trim lever (left side) CAN overdrive the collective into the high and low stops if you don't disable it - another reason to disable the lever.

hey, the one on the right doesn't have a disable feature, I wonder why, went to the devic menu and I can't disable it, but right now it is on aux three, which I am not using, wonder why I can't disable it.

Although AUX3 must be assigned to something, you can INH the AUX3 channel output in the Devic.Sel menu.

Technically, the right side LEVER can be disabled simply by ensuring that no channels are assigned to it. By default, AUX3 is assigned to the right side lever. You can assign AUX3 to a different switch or lever; that way, nothing is assigned to the right side lever, so it is effectively disabled.

It wouldn't have mattered much anyway. I think the manual mentions 'Pitch Trim' in one place, doesn't mention that Pitch Trim is on the left side lever, and the right side lever is never mentioned at all.

I absolutely love my 9303. I did find out that I had to add a little more expo to make it feel like my 8103. Has anyone else found this out too?

DrDan,

Me too. Just switched my EVO from my 8103 to the 9303 and noticed I needed a little more expo with the 9303. No mechanical changes to the heli but it just seemed "twitchy".

Maybe its me...maybe the different setup....maybe the radio....I don't know for sure. Just know I needed a little more expo.

Later,
