How do chaps..
Would anyone know a good starting point for the main needle setting for a os61 max SF because when i give it full throttle my head seems to bog down using NHP 68cm it says in the destruction manuel that the model should be flown with 66cm..

Also since i am quite new to this and quite broke i am using a slow servo for the tail,3001 using a csm 400 the servo speed is .19 with 6 volts. csm say .12 is best suited for this gyro.if i turn up my rudder speed i.e atv 4 up... would this kind of solve the problem with this slow servo

Also is the Futaba 3010 servo any good for a tail system on a 60 machine...i know many ??? hope u can help with some ,,,

ATV has nothing to do with servo speed. All that ATV adjusts is the limits of servo travel. If you have servos with differing speeds, then you will want to put your fastest servo in the "rudder".
the servo speed is .19 with 6 volts
6 volts can fry some gyros. Be sure that your gyro can stand up to that kind of voltage.

Listen to CSM. A slow servo can cause the tail to wave madly back and forth.

You can view or download an os engine manual at,
http://www.osengines.com/engines/heli.html

The bog down could also be your pitch settings..
adjust the pitch at 1/2 throttle stick (+5*)
set the carb as the manual says to start

a good digital servo/gyro combo is the best money spent
gy401/digital servo

What heli do you have? The OS 61 SF-H is an older long stroke motor. It is more suited to lower gear ratios, like around 8.6 to 1. It is not a high rpm motor. Are you sure you don't have an SFN? The SF has a natural aluminum head, the SFN has a black head. The SFn is a more conventional short stroke design.

a good starting piont or should i leave it about 1.5 turns.
Can anyone advise on Futaba 3010 servo's will this work ok with a 400csm gyro ..using a 148 crapper at the mo i told u skint lol.
