My rear motor keeps losing the main gear that is on the motor causing the heli to spin out of control and crash. I have tried may things to keep this main gear on including: glue, solder, crimping the darn thing on, but no luck. It keeps flying off. Has anyone had this problem before, and how do you fix it?

If it's the brass gear you're talking about, try using loctite.

I'm surprised yours is falling off. I've tried removing those things using a GWS pinion puller, and it destroyed the pinion puller.

Probably the easiest thing to do is to either buy a new tail motor with the gear on it or buy an new gear and put it on the old motor. Once the brass gear gets too big it will keep slipping off.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

Thanks for the information guys...I think I will buy a new brass gear. That's about all I can do at this point.
