Called Like 90 for a 8T pinion and thought I would also give their wooodies a try. They said no more lead weights in them but you could get them and intall them if you wish. I got the blades[no weights] and they were straight as an arrow. I checked the balance and they were right on! I put them on my Shogun and they work great. Smoother, better response, smaller stick inputs could be done and a finer sense of control. Tracking is very good.
Thet're the same price as the stock foam ones and in my mind Much better. Maybe not carbons[never tried them,,yet] but a definite step UP.

Just installed a pair myself.

They do track very well. Duration seemed less than the stock foamies. I'm not 100% sure, because I did not time the flight. I really did noticed that the climbout rate was much less! My guess would be 40-50% less. If I can't get that any better, I'll be going back to stock. Anyone else have a similar experience?

The like90 blades are made for high head speed. I run them and see no reason to use any other blade. Climb out rate might not be as good if using stock motor, but with 2700 rpm head speed they rock!

Running a HiMax 2025-4200.

I'm Running a HiMax 2025-4200, 9 tooth pinion, TP1320's running around 2800 head speed. The Like 90's just seem to slow during fast climbouts? I have not had much time to play with the Curves but will today.

My friend and I bought like90 woodies and they are just plug and play items. You DO NOT need to do anything. Tracking perfect, balance perfect, price perfect...

Like90 Blades Observation

I Agree With Many of you that these blades do draw more power. But the stiffness of the blades DO help control. Climb outs are not as good at the same throttle setting but just as good with a higher throttle setting. I run the 400DH which is Not lacking in power given the right juice. I did have to go to 100% throttle to get the same climb outs,,,BUT these blades[Like90] are great compared to the stock ones in control,,,,much stiffer and MUch BETTER IN THE WIND as they don't flex as much.
Good news however,,, as they will be offering a blade that is thinner in cross section[thinner] and that will help this small problem.
I would like 3 sets of blades. \
1. Flat bottom blades that I can fart around right side up and do it for a long time because they are effecient.
2. A blade that will enable me to enter mild 3D
3> A nasty SOB blade that I can practise to be worthy of
