The black stopper on my Evo fuel tank broke into pieces. Does that mean a new tank or is there a cheaper fix? Thanks

Mine did the same thing after only a couple of flights. I took an old head damper from my parts bin and cut it to length for the nipple fitting. Reinstalled it on the tank and not a problem since.

I don't recall if the damper was from my Freya head or my Raptor 50V2. Which ever, it fit the tank opening pretty close.

I think the main problem here is a sharp edge on the tank opening causing the gromet to cut and spilt after tightening the nipple down.

Fly it like you stole it!
