I have flown both blades on a raptor and both blades work good. I did perfer the NHP over the MAH for everyday type flying. The NHP's are alot faster blade due to there thinner air foil. Both blades auto ok but there is better autoing blades out there like CXD and V blades. If you only want these two types of blades I would go for the NHP. They are a better all around blade and are cheaper to boot.

Don't believe everything you hear/see on RR. There are reasons that Chris has nothing good to say about MAH blades. Up until a while back he was saying they were the greatest thing since sliced bread.

But, don't take my word either. Try both out yourself. It will depend on your flying style which you like better.

Mah blades have very fast cyclic response. Faster than most pilots need. But that is where pilots set their machines to their taste no matter what blade they fly. The point with any blade make is will it meet your needs at your skill level and will it hold you back as you advance. My arguement with blades is this. 90% plus or more of the blade manufactures blade designs are the same. They offer no new advances in blade technology. True some have modified tips which I will concede is a step in the right direction. But the MAh design is just that a designed blade with purpose in mind. Even lift distribution, High stall angle, Drag reduction. I'm willing to bet that if you tested the most popular blades used aginst the Mah's in a controled enviroment that the Mah blades will come out on top. Unfortuntately what makes a hot blade is trend, who's flying what blade. No science is involved. But it dosen't take a Phd to know what's more efficent. Compare a mini van to a low profile corvette. At 70mph who's going to use the most power to mantain that speed. If I have to answer that it's a said day indeed. No fighter jet in this modern era has a constant cord wing. My hope is that at some point pilots will see that this design is the right direction to move in and it is a logical one at that. When we start comparing other brands of tapered blades to one another then their wil be very technical debates about who's better. But untill that happens there is no comparison to the Mah blade as it is the corvette and everyone else is the mini van. Chris I hope you can see the light here and I hope that I won't have to continue to make the point. The MAH G2's are a better blade and you'll be very hard pressed to show other wise. When you find another tapered blade to compare to the Mah's please let me know.

Nando v. Arnhem if you get the Mah's and you find that you can't do something it won't be the blades holding you back. I know I've flown these blades for only 9 months and I have no desire to flying anything else even if it were free.

Now Guys

First things first, why is Dimitry typing in all caps that is a no no in posting?

Two, I have flown and tested all types of blades, and the G-2 is not a miracle its a copy of a full size blade that seems to work for a few pilots that like to fly as if they were throwing the heli at the ground. I would call this stick banging. Don’t get me wrong if that’s how you like to fly fine, but the more technical flyers find blades like CXD and SAB Vs etc are very stable at center stick but give a very clean and fast input. If you watch the tops flyers like Chris (sluggio), Pete, J rock Jeff, CY, TB, JK etc you see that they all can get low and nasty but also do the highly technical stuff. The bottom line fly what is best for you, but also look at the top flyers and the rest of the other flyers and you will see a trend of the best blades. No where do I see anyone of them flying G-2 mah. Oh yes the oh corvette theory was nice but I like mustangs and a thoroughbred is faster than any vette.

Dude... that is sweet!!! I didnt know you came back to the V's!!!

Actually, I remember Chris getting into it with the manufacture of the mah blades about them not standing behind their products when things were not quite right. So for those that know Chirs and the history with mah blades, knows that there is quite a bit to the story...

Buy what you can get localy
Buy what you can get a decent price on
Buy what works for you....

No go fly... and bust 'em up!!! hehe

They are also all over the UK and Germany. RC Market in Germany has them on his web site. Nothing is exclusive when you have cash to burn.

If they where the blade to end all how come there has not been one contest in the US or over seas won with these blades? You want blades try contacting http://www.eastcoastextremehelis.com/

I can throw my hat in anytime I damn well please. I will be at Mulberry again this year. C'mon over and introduce yourself, if you have any of those "nuts" you always seem to be talking about. You must really enjoy talking about "nuts". I'll bet you have them in your other hand as you are typing here.
