You can use a metal polish, like Mothers or metal cleaner like Brasso or a metal wadding cotton like Brite Shine. If it's bad, I would first use a #0000 steel wool before the polish.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

Brasso is good... Plus it multipurpose because it takes scratches out of CD's so if you have CD's you can't listen to anymore or can't use in your puter use Brasso on them too.

polishing

have had good luck with the mothers brand paste for aluminium stuff. works good if you use an old cotton t-shirt for final polish as you are cleaning off parts. can be a bit messy though. the oxidation that you are cleaning off seems to jump off onto your hands while working with it.

same here, i use autosol, then if i want it to really shine, after i've gone over it with autosol. i use regular automotive tcut, which brings that final shine up really nice.

Try a compound called Flitz. I use it on the mufflers, and rifle cartridge brass while tumbling them for cleaning. It does an excellent job, and can be found at Walmart.
