Is my first post, i'm happy to be here in the search for help.

I wanna know if to control a small electric helicopter (Piccolo Eco
V2) can i use either 7CAP or 7CHP, as i see 7CHP is a litte more
expensive but is ok the 7CAP to control it?, my receiver has a single
conversion crystal but as i have read on your Futaba FAQ this is not a
problem if the frequency and channel are the same.
Thanks

CAP is the airplane version and CHPis the heli version.

Both basically do the same....the throttle on the A version is notchy (for the airplane guys) while on the heli version the throttle gimble is smoothe.

Why not just go with the heli version....

Best Regards, Dario

I have the 7cap, flipped the ratcheting plate over on the throttle, and added a piece of heat shrink. same switches as the H only in a different position on the radio. They share the same internal programming. If i was buying again, i would be looking at the 9cap, a few more buks, more better bells and whistles.

sliped the heatshrink over the end where the plate rides on the gimble "gear". made it a little smoother, with a little bit of friction. you could use a piece of fuel tubing also.
