Why does my loops fall out to the left?
Both the Predator and the Raven. They do the same thing, the Raven is more drastic than the Predator. Both are CCPM. It starts into the loop real nice but falls out to the left after it passes the top and starts down. Doing large loops. What am I doing wrong or is it my setup?

swash timing . Check your ail cyclic while going from pos to neg pitch, as in see if collective movement gives any cyclic movement. You can tweek this by turning the washout pin.

The servos we use are not exact. What I mean by that is, with the same input you may not get the exact same output in number of degrees of rotation at the servo output arm from three different servos. What I do on my eCCPM machines to make them fly as accurately as possible after trimming for a stable hover and after adjusting battery location until ballance is correct, is adjust the endpoints slightly like a trim.

If the heli under full power and collective climbout goes foward, I will reduce the endpoint on the elevator channel by about 5% and try it again, repeating until the heli goes straight up. If it rolls slightly to the Left, I will increase slightly the endpoint on the pitch channel until it goes straight. I continue the exercise inverted until the heli goes straight with either direction full power.

I've found after "triming" like this, the heli will fly aerobatics much more accurately.

Good post Steve!

I would just like to emphasize that this phenomenon is prevalent in any ECCPM heli control system (JR, Minair, Hirobo, Kyosho, Century) and your method can be used on any of them.

Syclic,

Thanks, and you are right. The error is caused by the servos/radio, and not the heli control system, so the setup procedure will work on ANY eCCPM machine.

Thanks for the replies.
I looked at everything suggested.

As far as I can tell the swash has no interaction. It moves straight up and down.

No mixes in the TX.

I haven't had a chance to try the end point adjustment thing yet. Maybe the swash doesn't move straight under a load.

Thanks again.
