It is true, Ade is a remarkable man. He is like no other!

I believe that its is now all of our responsibility to lobby MPs in order for them to get Brussels to enforce crash testing for RC models. You know the equivalent of encap (or whatever the hell it is) testing for cars.

Although it will drive up the prices of parts and helis' it will provide a job for Ade and keep all of use out of harms way

God bless you Ade. If people had never pushed the boundaries we'd still think the world was flat!

To be fair to ade, I think he pushes the envelope of his flying and with that helis will crash... he also experiments with new helis...

He flew My R50 and it more than survived...

Things I have crashed

Raptor 50 twice (once was effectively totalled)
Fury Extreme Minor Damage
XRB Llama (loads)
Combat wings (loads)
Ford Anglia (rolled)
FS1E (front tyre at 60mph and still got the scars)

Ade is a good flyer though, just maybe unlucky. At least only having one heli means that I only ever have to repair one at a time

Howabout 1700cc full race crossflow engine, 2000E box, classic front end with disk brakes and uprated springs and calipers, shortened Jag IRS back end, with widened steel wheels to look almost standard...

Used to manage all of 10 mpg and would see off pretty much anything of the day upto 80ish mph....

Funniest thing ever was flying down the M3 towards Bournemouth, flat out in the outside lane, rapidly approaching a Mercedes SL (dunno what speed it was off the clock) seeing this guy do a double take in the rearview mirror and then pull over into the inside lane and look agog as I came past him...

We nearly wet ourselves...

The car lived another week after that day, it was rolled in the new forest somewhere while I got lost on holiday...

Ah well
