Hello i got a West 50 H engine in my raptor the engine is pretty new and running good , but its blowing plug too often !!

Today I tried to run it and do some setting and within one fuel tank it went trough 2 plug !

Iam using technofuel 5% nitro and synthesis oil.
Plug used were os 8.

Whats going on here , what does that mean , plz help .

Probably too lean:

Check the temp of your crank case ( Back plate of engine usually held on by four bolts) during a tank and if you can't hold your finger on it for any length of time you are running too lean. (Land and throttle down to idle, lift heli and check temp)

Richen the main needle out until you get good smoke and the temp of the crank case is just right to hold your finger there for 2-3 seconds.

oh i see , i hope i didnt have damaged the engine running it too lean
I always had an heavy smoke trail tho .

If anyone using this engine what is your needle settings plz ?
