Mine also did this but I had a quite aggressive pitch setting (engine bogging at 100% throttle). I reduced it a bit because I found out that it was not symmetric - now I have 90% throttle on full climbout, it doesn't bog, and the tail stays where it is.

Has anyone tried the Revolution/Acceleration Mixing function on their radio? I'm not familiar with Futaba radios but my JR8103 has this so I'm assuming it's found on others as well. I havent had the opportunity to try this in actual flight but on the bench it seems to be a possible solution. Taken from the 8103 manual (pages 84, 85):
The Revolution Mixing Function mixes tail rotor input with the Throttle/Collective Function to counteract torque from the main rotor blades. When set up correctly, the helicopter should climb and descend without a tendency to yaw in either direction.

The Acceleration Mixing function is provided to compensate for the main rotor acceleration (and deceleration) torque. The magnitude and duration of the signal to the tail rotor depends upon rate of the throttle changes. Thus, quick, jerky throttle inputs will yield more noticeable tail

When using HH mode to adjust trim you need to go to rate mode and make any trim adjustments manually with the rudder linkage you do not use the rudder trim on the TX.
Also when using HH mode you do not use any kind of revo mixing.
You want all rudder settings centered when using HH mode anything not centered with cause the gryo to not function at it's full capacity when in HH mode.

The radio's at home and I am at work but I'll give you these thoughts.

Mine needed almost no correction in rate mode with the 4.5mm technique that is discussed on raptor technique.

I have rudder trim centered with zero sub trim. (If you find the arm isnt centered, rotate it 180 deg, that should get you very close w/o needing subtrim)

Ball is 14mm from center, 2nd from the end on a futaba wheel I think.

ATV's for rudder are at 125 percent, -20% expo. Good piro but not scary, and not too twitchy at hover.

Revo mix inhibited.

Not sure what the gain settings are but I bumped it up to wag then back %5

Only problems I have had with the tail is when it was running rich breaking in the engine and the head speed was low.

Also on a side note, replace the main and header fuel tank clunks with clunk line or good fuel line.

Thanks again for all the tips guys! I read later that you shouldnt use revo mixing with HH. doh! If anyone has more tips to share that might solve this, I will appreciate it. I've been reading RaptorTechnique and other places, but being a beginner, I'm not 100% up to speed on all the gyro stuff.
Thanks!

Just thought I would post my solution for this. Very simple and totally overlooked. I didnt have enough throw in my tail rotor! The gyro couldnt feed enough right yaw to counteract the torque. Now that I have the tail rotor throw set up properly, she stays straight all the way up! Thanks for all the input!
