You'll get answers both ways

GV-1 is simpler to setup (due to LCD screen) and more expensive

TJ Pro is slightly more complex to setup (you really need a tach) but cheaper and, I've heard, better at controlling headspeed when used with a super servo.

I've gone with the GV-1 on both my helis and am more than happy with the performance and the 'plug and play' setup.

I went with the gv-1, easier for me to setup and copes fine with my style of flying. I had difficultly getting my tj-pro to work with my 3810 but I ran it with a 9253 and it help the headspeed better than the gv-1. I just like the screen and you can just pick your headspeed rather than have to work it out.

I've seen people use both successfully. I have been told the TJ holds head speed a little beter.

I use the GV-1 on everything. I like the screen so I can read what is happening.....

...but either will work for you.

Best Regards, Dario

Forget the TJ pro. Too much of a hassle. You need much more equipment to get it to work.

GV-1 is the way to go. Yes it cost more, but if you add the Optical Tach for the TJ, you far over the cost of a GV-1.

I have GV-1's on all my birds. Easy to setup and work great.

I've got a GV-1 and I love it. It was very easy to set up and works great. I can't speak to the TJ Pro.
