If you were in FL, you would probably love winter. Not much humidity, blue sky and gorgeus weather to fly.
Summers suck though, it rains every single day. And don't forget those spinning weather systems as well

But the bottom line is we fly 365 days a year.

California: wild fires, inflation, earthquakes
Florida: super high humidity, crazy weather, oh yea, Ivan and his relatives.

I will take cold, rain, wind, and snow. Under duress, but I will take it. There is a ton of modeling activities in OH. Too bad outside? Simulators can be a good placebo. There's also small electrics with quite good performance for indoor fun.

Who am I kidding, I also hate this cold, rainy weather!

Don't know anything about those weather problems..
The little rain in summer isn't much...You can fly here 365 days a year except for the hurricanes and then it's not adviseable
Of course...I've only been here just over a year, so what do I know?

Hey Imperio

All flyers are welcome here in Aussie land
as we say "Come to Australia--- sunny today perfect the next"

Of course there are a few requiments you will need to do before entering Australia------
1--- fly Qantas airlines
2---you must like shrimps on the bar-a-Que and cold beer of course
3---bring a Gasser heli with you, as they are too dear for me to purchase over here
4---a promise that you will go home eventually, cause everyone wants to stay once they arrive.
5---a signed picture of that lovely lady--Julia Roberts.

I to retired a couple of years back at the YOUNG age of 50.

Arthritis!!!!!!!!!!! Not here, try breathing in a few heli exhaust fumes, also now and then while mixing your fuel spill a little Nitro over your joints
{your joints NOT those funny cigarettes} ---no more Arthritis. Hmmmmm.

I could not believe my poor old tired eyes. Your mother should take you out to the shed and wash your mouth out with soap for daring to print all those foul 4 letter words.

I lost my infamous tag line.

Hey' hell it's worth a try? ill head on down with the gasser' but you have to promise me a bathtub of warm 30% to soak in when i get there! Oh by the way what kinda Gasser is it i'm suppose to sneak past custom' as in your preferance of machine? How much is glow fuel there a gallon as to compare with regular gasoline is about $1.88 a gallon and 20% heli fuel is about $18.00 to $20.00 a gallon here in Okla?

If you hate the winter, move to the gulf coast where I am. It's supposed to be 94* today with at least 100% humidity. I've never lived in a place that actually has a change of seasons.

id say if it snows, and the weathers calm, get your camera and enjoy the flying whilst you can. I think you can get some pretty nice heli shots in the snow.
