Well Thanks to all of you I am in the air again I put in some new heat shrink in between the tail shaft and rear gear and then used a pin to put a couple of drops of CA in and the tail is holding perfect. I also went back to the stock shaft because of the shape I think it will hold better. I now have my gyro set at 65 and it is rock solid. I also got my piccolo fixed so I am taking turnes with them. I think I will be up all night
Thanks again
Mike

Seems to work great in high mode but low was not as good. I am at 100 100 100 100 100 with a 2025-3200 and a 9 tooth pinion. Head speed around 2500.

Just out of curiosity, what battery size are you using, and what is your run time at that head speed?

I am using a TP 2100 gen 2. I only fly for 91/2 min just to keep the motor temp down. The pack is only warm so I think I could just fly the whole pack and be OK. Motor is a little hot but I can keep my hand on it for a good 10 seconds before it burnes.

It sounds like you can fly longer. Read the specs that came with your motor. The himax 4200 motor has maximum temperature just over 200F. When it is that hot, you can't even touch it for a second.

If your motor has a similar temperature specification, you should be able to go longer without doing harm to the engine.

I recharged my bat and it took 1688 ma so I could have gone another 2 min or so and still be safe.
