Pricing

Hey Dennis,

How about offering:

The helicopter with speed control $169.95.

I know some guys would like to get the speed control in a combo to save a few bucks and then use a different motor.

Is the speed control you are packaging the CC25?

Thanks for the info,
Trace

ohh man i cant wait to get my hands on one of these! if its 3D capable and has inexpenisve parts 200 bucks for the heli brushless motor and speedcontrol is a bargain! could really compete with zoom 400 i think. considering the zoom for 200 bucks only includes a brushed motor.

Pro's first impression, it's power, it's workmanship. Awesome... This is not a hype, nor promoting this product, this product will sell itself... I've flown the Shogun, but this little wonder is awesome, the Shogun is a great flyer, but for me it's somewhat too big.

The pro. stayed with the micro theme, and most importantly it's 3D capable. Century will be providing this to it's costumers, with a price that we all can live with, so all can enjoy....

US and Overseas (UK, inc.) engineers, got together and came with an ultimate, bird.

What I like about the bird.

1) Now, that the Voltage are distributed to the system and single motor on board. The current draw is stable, because there's no fluctuation of power and no more conflict of electrical flow to the motor.

2) Tail response. Awesome...

3) Head assembly. No play

4) Over all look. Stunning

Shogun or Hummingbird 3D PRO???

I am considering buying one of these heli's.
I called Century up this week and they were not too friendly when I asked them when this heli was coming. I hope that doesn't reflect the way they do business or their customer support? Maybe they are getting alot of calls on this subject?

The Shogun is bigger and I don't like the way the tail drive is controlled with the small pinions - looks fragile! But it is bigger and has a larger brushless motor.

Any recommendations? Time will tell.

One other note: My only electric heli so far was years ago...an ECO 8 from Ikarus. It was a disaster even with their brushless motor and schulze controller . I only was able to get 6 - 8 minutes in a hover and when I flew it the time was even less (because the heli has to change altitudes and that draws even more current). I sold it on EBAY at half price. What a disapointment! Also needed a PCM receiver to cut out all the glitches.

Not too friendly???? Century is currently pretty darn good with their service... Sorry dude Century is pretty excited about this product and loves to discuss it with costumers, but not to the extent of revealing all the goodies that this bird can do..

I had the same problem, as you when I was flying my first electric heli. Constant glitch. 'Twas weird, I fixed the problem by wrapping the wires with foil

Boyd,

The target is before Christmas, no definite date of when. I don't wanna talk around my superiors, they makes the decisions when this bird will be sold to all 3D micro pilots. Even Dennis is hard at work flying this bird, making sure, that the pro. Will be a 3D PRO.
