JoeK, try hanging a very small weight to the left or trim weight from the right

Increase the pitch of the blades on the correct rotor to stop the yawing.

I recall reading this thread earlier. Yesterday, a friend hooked me up with this particular site:

http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/163100.asp

Apparently, this machine is on or above the same level as a 30 sized nitro machine and woe, you sure can't beat the price.

What do you guys think of this, the Shogun 400 ?

thanks,

John

I owned one. It sucks. It flies like a micro, not a 30 nitro. For micros, the Hornet2 is much better.

Zoom400 is talked over and over in the zoom forum.
Just go take a look.
Its The hottest selling micro electric helicopter right now, slightly larger than a Hornet2.
If setup right it can do everything you want it to do.

It has nothing to do with this Bladerunner here though.
I really want to try this bladerunner.
it seemed to be a helicopter look alike thingy, totally deserve its own league. Since its a totally different beast compared to regular RC helicopters form the video I've seen.

I've seen the proxyflyer/bladerunner being in a stable hover and then pulled lightly on the skid. The rotor counter act the pull and remain in a stable hover. It feels like, when in still air, the proxyflyer is STUCK IN PLACE in midair, it'd be hard to move in out of a stable hover. Its just crazy to see something so amazing. A 5 year old could probably push the throttle stick and hover that thing. I think the mechanism of moving it in air is to shift the CG to different spots so that it moves slowly. And it stops moving when CG is in the very center.

Bladerunner

I have had one for a couple of wks there are a bunch of mods that are really neat. Over on R/C Group Discussion forums there is a whole list. I replaced the stock battery with a Kokam 340 and I can get >15minutes on one charge with a couple of basic mods. It is really stable and almost indistructable, whats really cool is it only costs $70.00. I got mine from KB online

I've posted a video of Bladerunner flying in my gallery.

You can see how different it is from regular helicopters.

In rcgroups.com, try search for a pdf document that has all the info about mods. Its there, rather easy to spot.

???
what do you mean? try looking to no avail?

do you mean you can find places that sell these.

I think KBtoys.com have them for $69 US and that's the cheapest place in US. You can order them on internet.

I just went to radioshack here in Canada and picked up my.

Note that bladerunner is getting constant improvements.
meaning the factory keeps doing small changes to improve this product.

So you might not want to buy something off 2nd hand since it might be an older one without new improvements.

But you should just get one now instead of waiting for improvements. Since there is no "versions", its just running changes.

Do a search for "bladerunner pdf" (w/o the quotes) and click on "Show results by post" (or similar wording) option. The results will take you right to the post with the link to it.
