Today's weather was almost perfect, the winds were a little gusty there for about an hour but before and after that, you couldn't have asked for a better day of flying. I was a kick-a$$ spectator! I got a lot of video of some great flying and met some great guys including Ryan Witchey and Eric (forget last name) who have some great Hirobo choppers and helped me out IMMENSELY with my new X-Spec.

I Don't think I'll make it out there tomorrow. But just wanted to say this event was a lot of fun, even for a spectator.

We can't thank Scott and Jacki enough for putting this thing together. This was one of the best all year. This was one Funfly NOT to be missed!

Lots of great pilots, FOOD!!, and FUN!

(Can we get some more of catfish and slaw to go!)

(( the baked beans and chili were awesome, but it made it tough for those who had to drive a few hours home Sat night., in a truck packed with friends and helis!!! ))

I won't mention names but something was definitely SOMETHING Buzzin’ in the SUV!!
And it wasn’t ME!

Nevertheless it was all-around great fun! And we will definitely be back!!!

Did anyone get video of the EZup's rolling down the flight line? If anyone has a busted tent (like mine) PM me! I have another EZup I use for spare parts!

We got a little innovative down on the south end of the field!

Just angle the EZup into the wind and add a little Weight in the center of the tent !

Thanks for the bungee cord Cortez!

Fantastic event for sure. I had a ball. The hospitality was great, as was the food. There were lots of great pilots, and the flying was awesome. I would like to say that we from Okc are VERY sorry about the raffle! NOT!!!!!!!!!!! Just kidding! I think Jacki was ready to see me leave. But her and Scott put on a great event. And it was for a great cause. I WILL be back next year for sure, providing the 8 legged friends are not invited. Thanks to all involved for a great time, and a top class funfly. I enjoyed it very much. And dont let Jerry fool you. He was fouling up the air quality PLENTY on the ride home!

Build it, fly it, crash it. Repeat as often as needed.

Yes once again thanks to Scott and Jacki for the great funfly. It was really awesome to watch Cortez fly. Cortez thanks again for autographing my main blades with my tail blades. I just wish i could make it out there next year to help clear away the raffle prizes again with the OKC Crew.

Smart man!!!!!!! Enjoy it, although I am sure your Voyager will not be too happy about it. But you will soon not care about that much at all.

Thanks to the entire Glasgow family for putting on such a great event. Highlights (aside from the great flying) included the food, Saturday's game of tag with the EZ-Ups (it gets windy in Oklahoma), and Justin's stand-up comedy act late Saturday evening . These folks are all first class and this is easily one of the most enjoyable events of the year!

Thanks to the Glasgows!!

Great event, great people, great flying, great food, a Caribbean cruise give-away! What more could you ask for?...

Jerry, good luck on your hobby shop endeavor! Looks like you've got a little extra inventory to start out on the right foot! Ever think about buying a lottery ticket? Geeze.. Seriously though let me know if I can help out in any way.

Hello all. We just wanted to say thank you VERY VERY much for making this such a great fun fly. We really enjoyed hosting it and having all of you around. The weather was perfect on Saturday (come on guys...what's a little wind?) and the turnout was wonderful. It was so good to see all of you one last time before winter sets in! Thanks again for contributing to such a great event and just so you know...we are already planning the menu for next year!

(and we are planning a way for the OKCity guys to just send in their money!!!) Just kidding!

Jacki

ps - The tshirts ARE happening, so Jerry, Mike and Brian please call me (918-269-9492) for details. Thanks very much.

Wasn't a problem at all CJ. We were glad to have you right next to us. I have said it before and I will say it again. You are a top class guy, and one hell of a pilot. We were actually only hopeing some of your MAD pilot skills would rub off on us. But perhaps that can happen sometime in the not to distant future. I'll call you next week.

Jacki,
We will likely just get the shirts all in one swoop. That will save on shipping. And make it easier on you. I'l have Jerry call you to get us all settled up. Thansk again.

Gotta throw in my 2 cents too. The weekend was a lot of fun, very laid back and relaxed just like FFs should be . Some darn good flying too, picked up on a few tricks I need to work on for next season. Definately looking forward to next year... is it here yet??? Chrystal and I wanted to thank the Glasgows for putting on this event and for some great food as well. Mmmm mmm mmmmm. Hope to see you all again in the not too distance future.
