Tony, what options did you choose, and whats your tag?

Did you know Bergen have max flight time on 40 min?

Never argue with an idiot, he'll drag you down to his level and beat you with experience...

This being a very old thread and all, but I've just bought a brand new year old Voyager GSR, complete
Has about two tanks through.
Need some pointers, and heads up's.
Already had an issue with losing tail rotor control, the screw holding the arm to the casing rattled halfway out, and the ball came adrift.
Was low, and caught it
THAT has now been modified with a longer capscrew and nylock nut.
I've also gone through most of the other screws, and re-locktited those that were iffy.

So, what else, and some throttle curves would be helpfull, this being my first gasser

I documented a "Silphyde" upgrade for the tail pitch slider to address the ball link issue and John O provide a base starting point for throttle and pitch curves (after no one else would provide this info). A quick search of this forum will provide this and other info like throttle linkage arm configuration and tuning. Good luck - it is a great machine. I had mine for a year or two but sold it about 6 months ago.

Target your headspeed around 1400 and you'll be good. It's a great ship, enjoy!

Done a few flights now, and having some vibration issues.
Since the tail, one of the hex spreaders holding the rear body snapped, and the two screws holding the clutch onto the cooling fan departed, with a bit of a bang

Fortunately the contact area didn't get too graunched up, refitted the clutch with a smear of locktite on the mating surfaces, and the dial gauge shows almost no runout on the clutch.

Not happy with the gyro, G7000T, with DS8900G servo. Tail flicks around too much to my liking, can only compare to my Raptor/Airskipper/TREX600 helis I have. They are much smoother, and easier to set up.
And they all have G490T gyros.

The blades I got with the heli are 790 mm from tip to hole, semi symetrical, no name. And they needed balancing.

Looking into vidcams this week, this thing has to start paying its own way now
