I was flying my heli today and there was no wind at all i would get in in a hover probally 8 feet off the ground then it would just slowly thats to come down so i would give it more pitch and then the engine just started to bog out? Is this a problem with how the way my throtle is set up? Im a begineer and i have no idea how to fix this?

Mine did that when I first set it up. Turned out that I was running a bit too lean and the engine was overheating.
I also gave it a bit more rpm at hover. Runs much cooler and doesn't try to fall out anymore.

like the other person said.

the engine is probably too lean. when it starts
overheating, it does start bogging and doesn't
make power.

Open up the high needle 3-5 clicks. You should
see a reasonable amount of smoke output from
the engine.

Tell us more about the history of the engine...was it working fine and just started to do this or has it always done this. What has changed to cause this new observation. Did you mess with the needle settings from factory? Does it happen after x minutes of hovering from a cold start?

Next time it does this, quickly spool down the rotor and then touch your finer to the engine back plate. If it's too hot to touch for more than a few seconds, or if it is crackling and sizzling, you are running too lean.
