I recently purchased a Sceadu 50 and love it very much I gat great deal from my LHS it contained the DTDS and third bearing block no blades. I just want to know the major difference btween what I have and the EVO and what else should I should I purchase to make it a full evo besides the tank and push pull set?

Thanks Keith

The EVO chassis etc, are made of a new formula plastic also.
Check out Ricks to see whats included in the Sceado to EVO konversion kit.

Here´s a recent thread

Is the new head that much better espcially for the fluttering of the blades? I belive the frame in my kit is the same as the EVO.

Fly your Sceadu as it is.

It does not need to be up-graded to an Evo, although the larger fuel tank is nice.

600mm wood blades will probably be okay up to 1650 without flutter. Beyond 1650, these blades have worked very well for me (600mm's):
Thunder Tigers
Hirobo 0403-314
BBT/Evolution

Good luck,
andy-

Proofread carefully to see if you any words out.

The only difference in frame is the increasing of the straight by changing the formula of the plastic and adding a bit more of that plastic in some places.
You could change your frame after a crash, so right now fly it as it is.
As about the rotor head than if you just hover, than don't worry about it, you would need to change it if you are going to do some loops'n flips.

I first bought the original sceadu 50 with 600mm frp blades. It flew okay, but I forgot a frame screw that connects the two halfs of the fan shroud and maybe that was the cause of my vibrations. I ended up getting the evo upgrade kit and it was amaizing!!!! I replaced the main frames, installed the new rotor head configured for high mobility, dtds main gears, third bearing block, bigger tank, and one feature which I think is really nice, the push pull system. I still havent changed the tail case and engine fan. I never had problems with overheating. I think the upgrade kit is totally worth it if you have the extra money to put into your heli.
