Had a great day today, i dont personally fly helis, i compete in aircraft freestyle and TOC stuff, but what a good show.

I went with steven gerrard ( red Mille Mk2) and john downham (air ambulance).

Saw some awesome flying, and steven did well, with us even tempting him into doing his B test, which he did like a champ.

Great day, thanks to the organisers.

The BBQ was fine, got a burger and some chicken legs so I was happy Congrats to Steve Gerrard then. That big Robinson 22 looked very impressive, shame we couldn't get him to take us for trips

Yeah Stephen filled his face on burgers cos there were no buds . ME and the scousers went flying on way home and Derek a.k.a. captain crash lived right up to his name and binned his Raptor 50

There was some pretty impressive flying today. Fast lad has come on very well too. Hope you make it into sportsmans this year.

Nice one Mr. Gerrard for passing your 'B' I think you pi@@ed it even though you were nervous. Not bad for someone who has only been flying for a year B@@@@@D If only I was that natural. I believe you will be in the masters in the years to come , for sure.

Thanks to the organisers, Martin, for a very good event and for bringing the very nice weather. Thanks also to the white van man, sorry i didnt get your name, but you helped me get my poorly futura flying.

R22 was cool too shame we couldn't have any flights in it or see it land and take off.

Mark.

Stop with the praise boys, my head has swelled so much I don't think I will be able to get out of my office to fly.

Glad you guy's liked my "entertaining flying" , It looks like the 10 Gallons of Magnum fuel I have burned in the last few weeks has started to pay off (plug plug John can I have a t shirt now to match my cap haha).

Congrats on a great meet and some really excellent flying.. Nice piro's of the deck Steve, I am going to have to have a go at them !!.

Right I am off to clean the grass stains of my tail rotor I think I pulled out really low on one of those tail slides... haha..

Cheers

There were two shuttles "screaming" around the sky, one a little more than the other, which one was yours ? or in other words were you the guy to my left or the youngster to my right.. :-)

Cheers

Well done Martin and all the other organisers.

A great day for flying - and watching.

It's a fair old trip from Cambridge, but well worth it.
