If you get out to fly today lets say a prayer and burn a tank in honor of all the guys living, dead and under marble crosses in Normandy. We get to enjoy out hobby and our lives because of their sacrafice.

Amen to that.

It's raining here in Calgary today so flying's going to be tough. I'm going over to my dad's (he served with the Canadian army in europe from 1939 - 1945) and have a drink with him.

We're going to have a toast to the veterans from all countries who fought for all of our freedom.

Nothing but gratitude and respect

We owe all of the veterans who fought at Normandy a huge debt of gratitude. Those who fought and those who died, we appreciate the sacrifices you made so that we could live in freedom.

Nothing against the Germans of today, but I am DAMN glad I'm not speaking their language and saluting the Führer....

My father was involved on D-Day but he came home.

WE SHOULD NEVER FORGET THOSE THAT DID NOT !

My son will go to the Far East next year with the Coldstream Guards.

We have not learned much in 60 years.!!!
