I don't know how many yrs I have had to hear ,,,don't that open gearbox draw dirt and ruin the gears from the MA guys,,,, and vilola ,now they have the exact same thing

The better solution is to increase the boom size to accomadate larger
helical gears.

...and quadrupal the price. Why would you need to increase the tailboom size? You would just need to make room in the gearbox.

According to Chris, the guys down his way call it an onion picker. Apearently, they land in onion fields.

Yes, they're cheap. I fly what works. They do the job, and I don't wreck em with a minor tail dig at the bottom of an auto. I have a pair of Vics tail blades in a box and that's where they'll stay till I feel the need.
