The most recent issue of MHT mentions Loctite 248 and 268 which are paste forms of the standard blue and red. Has anybody seen these items in a particular chain store or are they special order? Thanks....

I bought one at Advance auto parts. It was expensive and I ended up not liking it. When you put a drop of the liquid it runs and covers all threads, with the stick I dipped the screw covering some of the threads and leaving a clump on one side. it is kind of neat to try the new stuff but I will keep buying the liquid tubes.
just wanted to share my experience..
Roberto.
