Stupid question, but sometimes it is hard to tell on this forum when people are talking about the Hornet 2 or the older CP, and since I'm new to micros.....
On the Hornet 2, there is a bolt that squeezes the frame around the boom and should make for a solid hold of the part. I don't see anything in the manual about CAing that part on the Hornet 2. Do you need the aluminum clamps being sold at http://www.duzi.cz? Do you need CA if you don't use the clamps?

Thanks,
Rick

You can just build it per the instructions as I did. Aluminum part add weight and the Hornet 2 flies great in stock form. I would fly it stock and add something if I really thought it would help and/or improve things. Some times I changed or added things and all it was, was a waste of time and money.

The clamp is not really need (even though I have it and it weights
essentially nothing) :-)

What I recommend are the clamps for the tail servo. It is
very very convinient when setting up the pitch of tail blades.
