Only one I know of is starting to bother me alot... This just happened to a friend of mine's YS80 when he crashed his Fury. The MP2 flange bolts were stripped out and the engine was kinda messed up too!

Other than the little problem below, I am pleased with how the YS91 runs with the pipe.. some people say they have tuning issues with the combo though.

What kind of problems

How did you avoid them

What fuel - Plug & gear ratio are you running?

Thanks for the tips

What did the rest of the Heli look like. Some how the stripped flange bolts seem a little minor compared to that new trick two piece crankcase. Must have been quite an arrival!!!!

Makes it easy to change the bearings

This is the only reason why I run a SB16.

Looks like a new engine, not much exhaust burn on the piston.

i have ran about 13 gallons through a YS 91 with a MP2...good power, but isnt very quiet. Id use the SB-16 again. but the MP2 seemed to create a little more torque, and i HATE how the sb-16 mounts...yes its nice incase of a crash, but damn it seemed like i wouldnt be able to fly cause of the stupid bolts kept coming out...on my next YS 91 im going to try some other muffler...not sure what

Looks like the main gear busted the crankcase, unless it broke the motor mount too. the top of the case is bolted to the mounts and unless the mounts broke out of the frames the pipe didn't break the case like that. Probably a nose first crash causing the main gear to drive fpward taking the pinion with it.DOUG
