Assuming your using a Duralite charger, Make sure that the center post on the charger (male) that you plug the charge lead post (female) into has a little spread to it. There is a slot on top of it you can insert a small flat head screw driver into and spread just enough to make contact with the center of the post of the charge lead! I believe thats the ground. That has happened to me (no light showing) If that doesn't work, Either the Batt or the charger is defective. I hope this helps.

Check the voltage on the pack. They come charged. If it is not discharged to a certain level, it will not charge and the light will not come on.

Full charge is 4.2 v per cell for lipo's

yours is 2.3v per cell, assuming its a 2 cell pack. It should never get below 3.5v at no load or 3.0 v under load.
Store it in a safe place, it could catch fire.

You may have let it discharge too far.

Hey pepper, I have the same pack as you did and mine did the same exact thing. I was told from duralite that while in the manufacturing process a certain wire in the circuit can be broken and thus the pack wont charge or the light wont come on. Well they sent me a new one immediatley. I recieved it 3 days later, then i sent theres back. The 2nd one works great. I know it is frustrating, I went through the same exact thing. But when all is said and done, It is nice to know that duralite pulls out all the stops to make you happy. They also assured me that this battery will be checked personally. It ended up great just hang in there.

You must have a 2s2p pack then, same voltages apply to that one.
I have noticed a lot of duralite failures on here, more than all other brands combined.

But they do seem to have good service, but I would too if I had that much profit in something I sold.

Goes to show, just because its expensive doesnt mean its good.

I buy bulk 1200 ma lipo's and make my own 7.4v 2400 ma packs and only have $11.00 plus connector in the, and I am sure they can buy them for less than I can.

Can be due to the fact they (probably) is the most common LiPo battery for helis, and many ppl uses them?!
But of course its not making one happy when recieving a broken battery when ordering

Any type battery for that matter, not just lipos.

I would not trust one with their track record.

Its there safety circuit that goes bad not there batteries, and being that duralite is the only company that has this safety circuit built into there batteries, Its worth it to me to give them another shot. Once they work they work. The problem with these duralites is at the factory so they are eithier broken or not. They dont get to test all of them at the factory. If it came down to it id rather loose my heli, than my house catching on fire, the safety circuit works for me .

one of my packs light up the charger only after about 3-5 minutes when i attach it (not sure why), but it does charge well then and flies well. not sure why but it works.

Duralite is now desigining an even better new safe circuit that will hopefully take care of all the problems. they do have the greatest service though, you never get stuck !

duralites

i have had the same problem
I am using a 4000 mah on a raptor 50v2 and when i charge it
complete the light goes out. Then i fly a few times another day put it on charge and it wont
I suspected that i havent even started to run the batteries down.
So i flew some more then put on it charge and presto it worked.

But to make sure you better use the 1 am load voltage tester to test the voltages.

Had a problem with my duralite 4000mah and charger not lighting up. I managed to talk to them and they offered to exchange my setup. I decided to upgrade to the 3+1 charger and the a/c adapter too.

Took the new pack on its first flight last weekend and put it on the charger, no light on all three sockets. Decided to leave it plugged in for the afternoon to see if it would charge on its own, no luck. Played around plugging them into another socket and finally found one that would light up. Charged okay after that. So it seems like it might be a connection issue. I need to play around with it a little more to see.
