Are these motors lasting long? I have my Razor BL HB, but might do another HB and don't want to go BL with it too! Just something money saving, so I've been seeing this Johnson 250 and was wondering if it has a decent life over the normal 20-25 flights with the stock 370.

Thanks, Sam

Most people are getting a lot of life from them. I have flown mine for months now still going strong.

Here is the link to All Electronics for the Johnson motors. You can also get one ready to run from Like90, then you don't have to tap any screw holes, solder capacitors or add a connector and pinnion!

Click for All Electronics Click here for Like90

Ruined Both motors
Its called 5 minute epoxy baby
Thats just me but you know how that goes.
I think it would work.
The other option would be to get one from like90.ca
They sell the 250 already tapped for screws and they include them with an allen stock. They also solder the JST connector and capacitor as well as install a pinion.
Talk to you later JERKY

I've been using handtool drill tap size 4-40 for johnson motors. You can get this tool at your local hardware stores.
BTW, I've logged over 30 hours with my 1st Johnson motor. I usually do 15 minutes per flight, so that 120+ flights.

I just use small percision drill bits and a drop of oil to keep the shavings from getting in the motor.
