I have an OS32 in a JR Venture. My problem is that it was running fine. I put about 4 tanks of fuel through it then attempted to start it again and it is as if my glow plug isn't connected. Changed glow plug, no value. Changed to new fuel, no value. Checked glow plug, glowing fine. Flushed out carby by removing idle screw and flushing with fuel. no value. changed glow again just in case. Engine started for about 5 seconds at a fast idle then when I removed glow lead it stopped and I can't get the thing going again.

I am very frustrated by this. It was running perfectly before and I didn't touch it before it stopped working.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just an idea, check the security of you carb. It may be loose and leaking air or one of the carb. mounting screws may have fallen out.

I had exactly the same problem a couple of months ago. I did everything that has been suggested several times. After about the 5th time I took the engine apart and put it back together without finding anything that looked to be a problem it started and ran fine. And has been running fine for a couple of months now. I never did learn what I did to fix this.

Security of carb is fine. Head is tight. All screws are tight. I run filter on fuel going into tank and filter from exhaust to tank and from tank to engine. Looks like I will have to pull apart just for the sake of it.

I need all the help I can get!!!

You can get the same problem if the backplate is loose and leaking air. You really need to be sure that all of the screws are tight.

Is it drawing fuel in the line while u are spinning the engine with the starter? Maybe the clunk line came off or got pinched somehow....
