just switched to the new deans micro plugs, wow what an improvement from the jst plugs, much better flight duration, their a little tricky to solder on but with the help of of an extra hand and a small table clamp their well worth the effort

deans plugs

thats good to hear, I'm just about to order the LI-PO and the new charger and I was going to go with the jst plug but alot of the packs come with the Deans ultra already on the battery so you know which way I'm going now.

Yup! I use deans micro on all my motor and battery connections (black for motors, red for batteries!). I finally converted from deans ultra (a bit heavy for micro use...) after my friend wouldn't quit bugging me about it. Once you get the hang of soldering them, they're a snap and they actually come apart w/o giving you a finger hernia, unlike deans ultras.

better plugs = less resistance=less heat=better power, longer flight times, plus the jst plugs are only rated 3amps, the deans are rated for 15amps, big differance
