Because I don't seem to be spending an endless amount of money on parts and parts and parts, and new stuff that I don't need on helis. I am thinking about taking up something else so that I can really live beyond my means. Actually I just want to be impressed with what people are doing in other hobbies.

gambling
hahaha, that made me laugh. When you start to consider gambling a hobby then I assume it definitely becomes expensive. I don't really like gambling, I just know I'll never make money. I have heard of people who make money gambling, but most things you don't.

Women was also very funny. Thats why im going to marry a rich woman.

Make it idiot-proof, and someone will make a better idiot

buy a knackered old car from the scrap yard and start a police chase you will spend lots of money in fines

Remember crashing is stupid and you could end up crying in front of your friends!

Full-scale aviation is by far the most expensive hobby I have.

How about waterfront properties? Start with houses say no less that 10,000 sq ft.
Or you could just collect Celebrities houses as they sell them.

What's the happiest days of boat ownership?
The day you buy it, and the day you sell it.
I work on generators in boats occasionally, customer always hates seeing the bill.

I have a friend that has a twin engine plane
and a ninety foot luxury power boat.
he said the plane is cheaper, every time he takes
out the boat he has some kind of major expense
He said he would never give up the boat only because
he can afford it

Owning a football team would probably qualify as an expensive hobby.

I like the classic definition of a boat.

Boat (bout) 1. n[I] A hole in the water, surrounded by fiberglass, in which one throws money into.

PS. I think boats probably cost more than a bad drug habit.

I would agree with boats, little did I know what I was getting into when I bought mine a few months ago. But I wouldn't sell it for anything in the world.
