What would be a reasonable price to pay for a NIB Shuttle RG/M kit and a NIB OS .32 SXH? The RG/M is the top of the line Shuttle with carbon fiber frames, etc., etc.

I have an opportunity to buy one and was curious what everyone thinks it's worth?

Thanks!

Before being discontinued, the RG/M used to sell for $599. Nip OS .32's sell for around $100. Since there seems to be almost no market for expensive, FAI style 30 size machines, I wouldn't pay any more than what billy suggested.

Last year I had the opportunity to buy an RG/M in mint condition with tons of nip spare parts but decided to get a Fury Expert kit instead. The RG is probably the most precise, coolest looking 30, but it is just a 30 size machine.

The Shuttle RG sold for $550 to $600 new. The RG/M with carbon frames, push-pull collective and longer boom sold for considerably more. Something like $900 I believe.

Chris, you are correct. The RG/M sold for around $900 without the engine. Besides carbon fiber frames, it has a .46 size carbon boom with a micro tooth drive system for smoother operation and accepts larger main blades (570mm?). All the rest of the parts are metal.

Thanks guys for the input.

Right on. The RGM is the carbon version of the RG. The kit used to sell around 900 bucks. I still have my RGM but no longer fly it as the spare parts are prohibitively expensive. The carbon frames alone are 300 bucks. Way too much for a 30.... The RGM does make a cool display though.

csc,

If you do get the RGM and decide to fly it, PM me and I'll sell you tons of parts cheap.
