Can the ratcheting collective be changed so that it is smooth? I fly planes and heli's both and did not think that the ratcheting stick on the collective was going to bother me when I got my radio but I am finding out that this is becoming a distraction.

I believe there is just a small metal leaf spring
that is causing that. Open it up and it should
be pretty obvious what to do.

Do you guys know if Futaba radios are set up the same? The ratchet

Yeah, no problem on Futaba radios either. Pull the back cover off and turn the spring around. Very easy to do....

Thanks Dave I will do that later on today. I've been needing those little spots in between the clicks on the ratchet.

I'm using the 8103DT Tx, a R770 7ch PCM Rx and a GV-1. I have a Pmix of Aux3>Aux2. I plugged the speed control input of the GV-1 to Aux 2 in the Rx. I used ST1 as off, ST2 & ST3 as speeds. I also enabled StSw (governor stick operation) to turn off GV-1 whenever the throttle is below aprox 20%. That way, as soon as throttle hold is enabled, the GV-1 is turned off.
