Determine the shaft size. Probably either 2mm or 2.3mm. Then choose three different pinion gear sizes and try them until you find one that runs the motor and your heli the best.

Part #'s E018 or E084 or E085

Thats not a common motor for the Hornet CP. Maybe if someone else has tried one, they can pass on some info for this guy.

Gear size for my permax 280 bb

You're right. The standart motor was out of order, and I change it by a permax 280 BB. Actually I have a 14 tooth gear, but do not know wich is the best size. thank's for your help, Henry.

If your motor does have a 2mm shaft, then a 10 tooth pinion would be best on that one. Part #E018.
