With the YS engines, is it beneficial or not to use a header tank? I am not familiar the effects of the pumped system.

Thanks for your help.

The YS system wont stop the clunk from sucking air when flipping the heli around with little fuel in the main tank - so a header tank is useful.

'Hm now I just have to find out where to connect the GV1 sensor to the Jazz80 ESC.

Any particular brand that you prefer ? I need one for my new Tempest / YS 91. On my R2- 50 I used the one that came with the kit. I'm sure running pressure I'll need a good quality tank.

Thanks AL.

I run header tanks on mine with no probs, I like the
reserve and being able to empty the main tank and still have time to land, try to keep the plumbing simple.
The "Hayes" brand is pretty durable and work well, you can get
them from Rick's or HeliProz, get a CNC mounting bracket while you're at it and a couple of the MA spacers if you are mounting it on a Fury.

I've only seen one Freya fly. It had a OS-70 in it and I must say it fly's wonderful. The guy who flies it 3D's- the hell out of it! I think it is the best hovering heli I've ever seen to date. Can't imagine what the YS does with it.

Happy flying
AL.
