Well looks like there was a little bit of up and down play of the main gear on my 1001, and when I got back from flying, I noticed that the main gear's teeth were a bit chewed up. I think I will go a head with the upgraded transmission for the tail, but is there a better main gear or upgrade that I could put on at the same time, without breaking the bank?
Also in my instructions it mentions a fitting in the tailcase to put new grease in, but mine does not have his. Is this the old design tailcase or a newer one?
Thanks in advance to all of you X-cell Guru's.

The fitting in the tail is a taped hole with screws, no biggie, you can do it yourself, it's still easier to seperate case to grease.

I have a front tranny assy if you need it for cheap, PM me if interested.
