Does the 10X allow points to be put at the 0, 25, 50, 75, 100 marks to make a 5-point curve? From memory I recall this not being possible, however I am not certain?

Thanks
Craig

Thanks bimmer.
Have you come across any situations where you wanted to add a point and could not?

No problemo

There are certain situations where it won't let you put a point wherever you want. For instance, if you have a point at 50% and one at 75%, you can't put one in between them. I think they have to be at least 20% apart. I don't have the manual in front of me, but I seem to recall reading that somewhere.

There might be a couple other things that will prevent you from inserting a point, but that's probably the most common.

But 0,25,50,75,100 is no problem. I have four models set up that way in each flight mode.

That is good enough for me.
Will the hovering throttle knob adjust the 75% throttle point for hovering using a 3D v-curve or does it only adjust the 50% point?

I do not like the fact you have to move the throttle stick and put all servos in hold to set/adjust throttle points b/c sometimes the engine will die when you have to put the throttle stick to idle to get control back. That is the reason I asked the above.

Yes! By default, the hovering point is 50%. But you can change it by pressing "clear" under the "HOV" on the display when the stick is in the hover position. Again, the defaut is 50%. Then you can move the stick to 75% and "SEL" will appear on the screen. Press it now to set the new hover position at 75%. Again, all four of my models are set up like this, although I never use pitch trims!

A trick I learned from setting up electrics: Instead of using the "All Servos Hold" feature, I use Throttle Hold instead. It's already set to a high idle. You just have to remember to lower the throttle before switching it off!

thanks Bimmer, that is very helpful. The throttle hold idea is great, I will do that. Why didn't I think of that....anyway, I am sure there will be one accidentle episode of a power up from releasing throttle hold, but nothing like experience to create long term memory!

No. Hover Throttle only works on the Normal Throttle curve, not the idle ups. Obviously your normal curve wont be a 'v'.

You can use it to adjust hover throttle at 75% on the normal curve as noted, but that was not what you were wanting.

Thanks for the clarification andy. That is what I wanted to know. That is a shame you cannot adjust it for the flight mode you are in, room for improvement.
