Well after fighting with the rappy for a tank thinking **** it wasnt this hard last time, noticed I didnt have heading hold switch on, turned it on all good. The 2nd tank I was just hovering and the motor screemed shop up, then dropped bounced and WAAAAAAAAAA, bloody exhaust fallen off! I reattached it and continued. Im still doing a bit of a yoyo from time to time bouncing on the training gear, while it was about 4 foot up it started shaking all over the place, I thought bloody hell and lowerd it down, as it touched the ground there was a loud twang noise and the bloody training gear collapsed. The heli sat all crooked, but didnt bin thank god! So I spooled her down and fixed it again. All this in 2 tanks

Cheers ears...

Don't forget, metal expands when heated so even if the muffler is tight when cold, the everything expands when hot, so the bolts can come loose.

One trick to ensure the muffler stays tight is to tighten it to the engine when cold, then run the engine as normal, land and tighten the bolts a little more when the engine is still hot.

You'll always find that the heli will be more susseptable to vibration with the training legs on. I've heard people say to cut a different length off each leg, which helps make it better.

Was testing a friends heli with traing legs on...and it hoverered fine, for about 25 seconds, and then the whole thing almost shook itself to pieces!...landed it, and it was fine all over again.
