Hi guys,
since i have a few titanium front trays which i custom made for myself, and not using them (obviously).i might as well give them away.
see pictures here http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=227580
i have 4 or 5 i think.
Post here and PM me your address.
For the postage ,just Paypal me £1 to cover for the stamp/padded enveloppe.
For info, the titanium tray is VERY strong, nicely finished, but it is only as strong as the front plate it is being fixed to.
I never experienced any vibrations due to it,but i will do a new slightly longer one (so that the lip where the cable ties are also goes further on the Eolo frame and make the whole thing more rigid)

I can confirm these are top quality - well made made and well finished. Easily worth a fiver never mind a quid . Now Guillaume, get to work on a gyro/reciever mount -

Reefer,
your tray is in the post
Sporty,
thanks. I think these are worth much more than a fiver....just the material is probably worth £10 (used in turbofan engines) + labour...
I worked on the Eolo over the WE,pretty much back in the air now. Just waiting for my new receiver to turn up this week and a few adjustements.

guillaume

ps: i have 3 trays up for grab left.

On a side note: do not try to enlarge to holes on the tray.
You are more likely to break your drill bit than actually enlarging the holes. The cables ties are a tight fit in the holes but i figured out it was better like this.
Also, titanium is not a very ductile material and it won't accept to be bent too much.
For the finish, the plates have been blastered with high pressure (fine) sand,so keep your (dirty) hands off them as much as possible (to improve the contact area between the plate and the front plattform).

Hi guillaume,
I got Ti plate 2 days ago and have installed it.
Really like it since I can correct CG problem easier because of more room for elec. and battery pack.
Thanks for your nice work.

Hi Reefer,
I am glad you got it quickly.
Are you happy with the rigidity of the whole thing mounted?
the thin plate's stiffness is pretty amazing, isn't it?
i came up with a "new" design, extended the tray by 9mm to create a lip that rests on the actual frame of the Eolo as well as the front plattform.
I'll post pictures tomorrow
