I have been looking at the Like90 blades....

Are they that good? They sound pretty unbreakable. And a good price.

Can anyone offer some insight on the like 90's vs. CF or standard stock blades?

Thanks!

Like 90's work great for me so far, I ve only hovered them so far, you can't go wrong for the price, and so far they seem to fly as good as the MS CF FP blades, and the MS ones are very breakable.

I got 2 sets when i could only hover for 20 to 30 sec. thay have seen 100+ crashes and they still fly but, just retierd them, as i am puting my 3rd heli together the other 2 helis are just spare parts now. Any way like90 blades are the cats ass. I got mine before like 90 and now thay are new and improved! Althow i kinda like spruce
You will need to upgrade or improve your moter and instal a head stifiner to get things to work rite.DD tail moter is recaminded http://www.ALLeRC.com has good prices and exelent service I hily recamend them. And of corse http://www.LIKE90.com for the MOJO
yes they are the rill macoy thay out perform stalk blades and out last them all. I'v spent well over $400 on new parts that i'v broke wile useng llike90's and thay still have many of fliets left in them.
do the math thay will pay for them selvs after 3 good crash's.

My main motor is the Johnson 250 and I have the dual motor tail mount (Like90 sell this too). With this combo & my Like90 blades, you have greater head speed and stability. I have flown outside in a mild breeze with no control problems whatever. These are excellent blades and they don't flex like the stock blades do. I would highly recommend the FP Like90's!

I'm trying to get mine to 3D but even on my Lightening Brushless motor and DD tail with 401 I can BARELY get it to climb out with the symetrical woodies. I have +10/-8 and there is NO WAY I would even think of going inverted with this thing till I get more Lift.

I'm considering a larger rotor disk and these 255s might just do it.

Hi all.
The new like90 FP blades are designed to mount on the Elite FP as well. The one big issue is the gear ratio. That big 140 tooth main will pose some problems, and dont even think about using that stock 370 motor.
The best gear ratio I have found for these blades and the Johnson motor is 10:1, that would mean a 14 tooth pinion. We all know that the only way to adjust the motor on the elite is to get out the Dremel.
I have designed, and am now waiting for prototypes of an inverted, adjustable motor mount for the Elite. This should solve all the problems of motor mounting, pinion size and gear mesh. (I am not even going to fly my Elite until I get the FlipIT mount for it.
Hold tight, they should be in this week.
Currently working on some nice woodies for the CP HB too.
