I just got a CP with an 11.1 Volt LiPoly pack....Century says that only up to 9.6 Volts will work with the control board (Century main and tail drive)

What's the opinion???

Some people have had great success, while others cooked their boards early on. If I were you I'd try it and if the board goes, hey, good excuse to go separates

No I bought the LiPoly separate!

11.1 volts...I think I'll return it tomorrow and get the 9.? v that was beside of it!

This is a "THUNDER POWER" 3 CELL...11.1VOLT

that's one of the main reasons i decided to go separates.... since i'm sticking with brushed for now, and if it could safely handle 3s, i'd be more tempted to save some money with the hummingboard. but since it looks like it's meant for 2s......
