Installed a Throttle Jockey on my Caliber 30 this week. I can get it to calibrate as indicated by the green LED coming on when I first turn on the radio and cycling the Aux1 twice. Then move the throttle stick all the way up & back down & cycling the Aux1 switch again, the LED goes off. The red LED comes on each time the magnet comes around & of course it looks like its on solid with the engine running. But I can't get the jockey to enable & take control, the green LED will not come on above 25% throttle & the Aux1 switch thrown. I'm using an Airtronics Stylus PCM with Heli card. I have INH the Aux1 & 2 slidders on the side of the Xmitter which are high & low pitch trims & still can't get it to enable & control. Do I need to mix throttle & Aux1? I'm pretty sure its just a radio setup issue. Anyone familar with the Stylus or any ideas, please advise.

Hi Caliberdave!

I´m not familar with the stylus but you need to make sure that the aux channel you use as switch goes from 0-100% travel. Also, you need to check that your throttle curves goes from 0-100% when you calibrate your TJ Pro.

caliberdave,

PM staraero1 and ask OC Bob how to do the TJ setup and he will get you going. I just got one and haven't had the time to set it up on my Stylus.

Thanks TMoore, I sent staraero1 a PM. Hopefully he will respond. If you figure it out on your Stylus let me know.

Dave,

Its been awhile but yeah I remember it being a pain in the arse with the Stylus. If Staraero doesn't get back to you let me know and I'll try to back track what I did.

Thanks optech, staraero1 did respond with some ideas which I will try later this week. Basicly he thinks I have the Aux1 EPA too high. I'll try backing it done until it engages. But if you can remember any specific problems with the Stylus setup, that would be big help.

Thanks,

Dave
