Yup, thats right Hoverup, thanks for giving everyone the heads up.
Chandler now has a new baby boy and mom and kid are doing fine. (wish I could say the same for the dad!

Zoom blades ship today! In the US, we use USPS priority, so many people will receive them Saturday, depending of course on the postal service.

You said that Protech has some CF blades and stuff coming out. Are they better than the CF ones that Fung at Flying Hobby sells? I hear the ones Fung sells are crap, very bad out of balance.

You got a price?

I have tried several sets ( some have shipped to friends) of the CF blades from flying hobby and although they do require a few 1/10's of a gram of tape to balance, they fly great and have the "Look" that all us CF freaks want. I will wager that the CF items on the way from Protech are the same items. Hobby People in the USA also shows these same pieces as a June/July arrival. So I'll guess that they are all coming from Taiwan just like Fung's.

The advantage of the Like90's will be durability. I have the Beta set that Colin and I developed back in February this year and I have been unable to destroy them yet even with my dumb thumbing. Wish I could say the same for the stockers and the CF blades. Additionally The improvements that Colin has folded into the design, like tip weights, will make these the blades that everyone will be flying on their Zoom/Dolphin/Shogun/MicroStar/Zap 400. How can you beat the value?

Congrates, all I know to say is if your baldes fly half as good as you say they do, you better hire more help. I don't think you will be able to keep up with all the orders!!!!

Hi Guys.
Just to let you in on a few changes that have been made to the blades since the original set that Hoverup and I designed.

New airfoil. Designed with the zoom in mind. Thinner than the beta for less drag and higher headspeed.
1 piece construction. The original had a balsa TE, the new ones are one piece of bass. The TE can now be made thinner for improved efficiency.
Lightening holes in the TE
Tip weights.
The mounting point is designed for the zoom blade grips. They will fold back farther than the stock ones and not dent the blade when fully folded.
These blades were designed more to fly than to crash. Yes, they are more durable than the stock blades, but not bulletproof like the original that Hoverup has been flying. I figured that if they were designed to crash, they would not fly as well, so I designed them to FLY!
I spoke with Chandler and the blades have shipped. I cant wait to hear your impressions on them.
Cheers
colin
