Man James, you were dead on! I went to Taylor Do It Center and got the bolts you talked about and mounted the fan. It only took one pop with a hammer handle and I got the runout at .0015 . Everything else is going smooth. Maybe I can skip school tonight

Thanks, Jared......I wanted you guys to have the best chance at a smooth buildup.

We're here to help. Oh, for the rest of those inquiring on how best to get the torque tube slid into the boom........

SPIT. Saliva. Whatever you want to call it. Use it on the orings of the outer bearings and get some inside the boom. Slippery when wet.....dries and the stuff stays where you put it. Suggest you have the talbox installed on the boom so you can position is correctly....not too far, don't want to cause binding......
