Has anyone found a supplier of, or fabricated, a scale AgustaWestland EH101 fuselage? I believe this heli is soon to be released in the US as the US101 in conjunction with Lockheed Martin. The design has been marketed successfully in Europe, Canada and Japan, for use in S&R, ASW and troop transport as well as a civilian transport. With the possibility of it winning the VXX competition and becoming the next US presidential helicopter I would have thought the scale manufacturers would be all over it.

Anybody seen one around?

EH101

I've have also been looking at this as a scale project in the next 12 months, I hope some of the scale body companies here in europe develop the heli as a kit as it is a really nice machine and mentioned above is going to be made in the US to, I've seen images of this as the new US presidental Heli's to replace the current ones used.

So any scale companies willing to take up the challange!

I hope so

Hey guys,

I'm new to this RC heli thing so I may not be to much help with the RC side of things but I do fly the Cormorant which is the Canadian version of the EH101 or UK Merlin. If you have any questions or if you would like some pics let me know. I would love to see an RC version of one of these flying.

Cheers Barry

Eh101

Dear Friend

As far as I know there isn't a kit version on the market.........yet.

The closest you may find is the NH90 in both petrol and turbine versions available from Graupner.

Close but maybe not close enough.

Regards
Ade

hate to be negative about his but if you are looking for a fuse like this one, be ready to spend some serious $$$. seems now if a cool fuse such as the eh101 is produced, it would be too expensive for the average modeller to afford ands probably too large as well. the turbine market has drowned out the 60 size market in a way that no one produces cool stuff for the 60 size machine anymore.

drive a rotary, fly a rotorcraft
