Does $43 sound right for shipping? I'm looking at the invoice and it shows $745 for the kit and $43.80 for shipping. Total $788.80 Sounds a bit much for shipping.

UPS 3day select. I think standard UPS was $17.95.

Be grateful. I just had a Gasser shipped to Australia and the UPS charge was $455. The Guy I bought it from did an excellent job of packing and it arrived in perfect condition.

I shipped an xcell 60 to australia. I had to fit it all in a 10x9x30 box, the max allowed for standard air mail. It still cost $90, but it got there in one piece. It doesn't get any cheaper than that for Australia from the US. UPS overseas is absoultely outrageous. Only problem was that it took me about 5 hours to disassemble, clean and pack it, then it took the recipient about an hour just to unwap the parcel. No damage to the nice painted glass canopy, or any other part of it either. IT's still going strong and has since been passed on to a new owner.

Hi Stet

It took me longer than an hour to unpack it and it was a brilliant job. USPS is the only way to ship to Australia the rest as far as I know are over priced.

I have now imported quite a few helis and I have not had one problem with the gear from USPS.

cfranks what was the brand of you gasser? I may be able to help with parts if it was Bergen.

Thanks Ozzy Pilot,

It was a Vario Bell 47G complete. I do have a Bergen that I am in the process of rebuilding but at present I just about have enough parts.

Cheers

Charles
